The first three design ideas for the digipak release
These are my first three ides spired on from my initial idea os what I wanted to create for my digipak and magazine ad for the digipak. I wanted to make the digipak and magazine ad visually the same so if a potential audience where to look at the digipak magazine ad when they looked for the album they would know exactly what to look for when trying to purchase the album.

This first one show is my first choice for the design as it incorporates more of the boy with his hand holding out a car, whereas before it was just the protagonist's hand with blood on them. This represents that the young boy is giving his life away. It also includes the idea of the car and that, that might be something that relates to his death. His pale skin shown in the image represents the young boy's innocence. This design has the most going on and I think it is the most visually engaging. The use of the hand draws attention to the title of the album, which is the title of the song i created my music video from as I think it is iconic and has a deep message behind it.

This is one of the more simplistic of the designs as it just has the blood on the hands and the church window. The uses of the coloured church window with its faded blue and yellow in comparison to the deep red really draws your attention to the poster. One of the negatives of this design is that it has a lot of empty space and your eyes are drawn to the centre and there isn't much going on in the centre and the hands get lost in the image.

This just has a falling car which is supposed to represent the young boy's life slipping away and that all that is left of him now is the toy car he was so fond of. The hands are supposed to represent the protagonist reaching out to try to save the boys life and catch him as he falls. Its supposed to represent that he can't catch him because his hands were too covered with blood and they won't get to catch the falling car in time.
