Peer feedback on my designs for my digipak ad

Claudia's feedback (another student):
Claudia said that she thought that the third design was her favourite but it needs changes. She thought that is was better that we could see more of the window as she didn't understand the reason behind the use of the cars, as the album isn't about the narrative of the music video. In her opinion, an album cover should represent an album as a whole not just the music video of their most favourite song and music video. Also, she thinks the first image of the car looks flat as the image was taken from above where the image of the hands is taken from the front so it looks wrong in terms of perspective. Although, she understands some more of my idea of including some of the narrative o the music video. To make the third idea better she thought that it would be good if I moved the hands slightly upwards and had the text 'including other singles such as from Eden and cherry wine' above it. She said that this would balance the cover out better.

Morgan's feedback (another student):
Morgan said that her favourite magazine ad design was the one in the middle as the car stood out and she said that is was the one that looked the best aesthetically, and showed most of the narrative. She said that she really liked the text at the bottom.

Mrs Dixon's feedback (teacher):
Mrs Dixon said that she wasn't fond of the car and that she agreed with Claudia on the idea of selling the album, not the music video. She said that the first one had too much going on and questioned whether it was too busy. She thinks, like Claudia, that is should re-arrange the third idea.

Mr Osborne's feedback (teacher):
Mr Osborne feedback was that he liked the first one best as it looks best visually and included a narrative that and audience could interpret and understand. He liked the a the effect of the three hands as how it had a powerful symbolic code and the power of three is often used in the media to create an effect.  However, what he has said contradicted what the others had said so I have found a way to incorporate everyone's feedback.

In conclusion...
I think for the magazine ad I will use the third idea and re-arrange it so that some of the text was above so it didn't look too 'busy' and was easy to read and to look at for a viewer. I will use the first design for my digipak design as also like the three hands and feel like it adds more symbolic meaning to the image. Also without the text 'album out on' and 'including other singles such as...' it will look less crowded and will look better as an image and will work aesthetically.
